With their Neighborlove Program , Matthew Twenty-Eight offer the opportunity for work teams to help elderly and disabled families who cannot keep their own home in good repair.

The location of the program is the area around Hayesville, in Western North Carolina.

Neighborlove is offering meaningful mission opportunities, touching and bringing hope back into the lives of people who otherwise might not get a chance to be helped.

The complete program includes among other things: Lodging, food service, morning devotion with music, job selection and guidance, tools and materials needed for the work, evening activities and awesome recreation opportunities on the off-day.

The program is designed for just any group youth or adult who want to put serious effort in helping and loving their neighbor. We can handle group sizes up to fifteen people so we are perfect for the smaller churches. Don’t be reluctant if you have just a handful of kids because we also like to put smaller teams together. It is great to make new friends in this kind of setting.

Now all of this goes for adults as well. Get some men or women together, no matter the age, and jump in. Hein is more than willing to help you with any questions and to help you gear it up. If you wish so he is even happy to come and visit to help you plan and motivate the team(s).

There is no substitute for looking in the eyes of a stranger and discovering that they see the love of Jesus in you.
